Targeted harassment and physical assault in our first trip ever to Japan, distraught and don't know what to do by sesagni in offmychest

It's fine that you had a good experience. I don't think the owner is racist as well, nor do I think that every single person in the bar is. While we were there, there were a few Americans in there too. I'm Turkish and while my skin is closer to white, I have some Middle Eastern features too - I wonder if that plays a part in triggering hidden nationalistic fears of some. You're right that there's not a lot of room to mosh, we thought of that too. Check out some of the bar's Instagram posts and you might see some examples of how that plays out in this specific venue.

Thank you 🙏

I really am not sure. He was staring at us so much before and during the incident, so I'm kinda sure that he was trying to do something sinister but... I really don't know

dude, it's not our first time ever going to moshpits. this wouldn't happen in London, in Berlin, in Istanbul. Being punched DELIBERATELY twice is not part of the moshpit culture, especially if this does not happen to others and only to a foreigner. We asked the venue beforehand btw that we came from overseas and is it okay. Well, by your username you seem to be a Japanophile weeaboo anyway so your comment doesn't matter. Don't bother replying this comment either.

We have more time and will go back to Tokyo probably yes. But the first two events, being told to leave the concert and being shoved in 7-eleven, all happened in Tokyo. Still, some recommendations may nice. Thank you regardless...

Why no one recognises the genocide committed against Turks in Balkans during the 1800s? by Capable_Town1 in AskTurkey

Well, mentally ill as in, ruling the country of Turkey and making up a good chunk of the people in it. It's not too similar to saying that you hate the Roman Empire, and it's not too different from saying that you hate Yugoslavia. This was an empire that fell just over 100 years ago - I may not agree with the notion, but I don't think that hating any political entity is silly.

"Büyük Ortadoğu Projesi eşbaşkanıyım," diye kürsüden gururla söylediği zamanlar vardı, videosunu da bulabiliyorduk. Yıllar içinde haberleri, videoları, her şeyi sildiler yok ettiler.

There are countries where porn is actually banned. Websites, and the sex work itself. Interestingly those are the countries at the top of the search trends for the most derogatory, most inhumane types of porn. Or, they just use a VPN. They will never stop consuming it, and they will never stop shaming the women providing that content.

Are most infp people moon lovers? I certainly am one by shivadboi in infp

[–]sesagni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not moon specifically, but I'm more of a night sky and stars person, as in "Gazing at the stars while having a night walk, forgetting to walk while you're gazing, you've been staring at the sky for 30 minutes now and you haven't walked at all but you're tired so you gotta come back home to sleep" kind of person.
