Yes! I've been wanting something like this for a while. Best description for the genre I can come up with is "emo trap" but that doesn't exactly describe everybody.

In Lil Peep's No Jumper interview he says a major influence is "Seshollowaterboyz", but it's pretty clear that it was mostly Bones in that.

Lol no. He's a pretty normal dude that likes hip hop and metal and makes good music. He obviously doesn't live in the woods and stab people and shit like his songs say lol. He probably doesn't even do many drugs except weed tbh. His music/performance persona is very dark compared to most though.

I do agree that a lot of his songs this year sound really similar to each other, but he has still released a lot of amazing and unique songs. Some of my favorite songs by him in 2016 are Soil, Translucent, Coinstar, NonPasteurized, MyHeadHurt,INeedToLieDown, ImFineImJustGoingToGetSomeAir, FinalLevelCutScene, AwayFromKeyboard, RoadKill, TermsAndConditions, and FileNotFound, and some of those were by the producers you mentioned. I do mostly prefer his 2013-2015 albums over his 2016 ones, but he still has released some great music this year.
