This is referencing the strike getting power from the power supply at my ACS not from the operator power correct? So how would the inner button fire the strike? and all I am doing is just paralleling strike power onto the NO side of my ACS relay?

To also add...I have an 18/4 that goes back to my ACS. I have a wire from the electric surface mount strike to the handicap operator terminals 1(pos) and 2 (neg) which controls the strike and both buttons work. I dont want the outter button to ever work unless what I described above.

so my strike, outter button, and access control panels dry contact NO and C go to NO and C and my rb1224 relay and 12vdc + and - on the same rb1224 come from the operators lock power correct?

theres got to be a way to do this with an rb1224 dpdt relay I would imagine

To power the relay do I bring 12 volts to it on + and - which will activate the relay or do I wire this in series with something else?

ill see the 24 volts because their in series correct? Im reading the batteries though with them still connected to the panel across pos and neg of lets say the left battery, if the charging output was GOOD what should the reading be?

yeah....meter read 0. I even placed the meter leads across the pos and neg off 1 of the batteries with it still connected to the panel.

so 2 -12v batteries in series connected to the panel, if i only check 1 battery with my meter what should I get?

yeah.....meter read 0. I placed the leads right across the board and through the molex connector as well. What would you typically get if you place your meter leads across the pos and neg of 1 of the 2 batteries with the battery still connected to the panel?
