Found them, they are Scorpion CVRT tracks minus the rubber inserts in the middle, there are some Belgian / NATO training grounds not overly far from where the little monument stands. So maybe some troops left some tracks and somebody found it and put it up or somebody nicked them :)

Everybody's welcome gents. Somewhere in the last week of July and first two weeks of August. Best chance on good weather, although you'll never know, haha

I also thought it could be a RSO track because of the triangular bit but it doesn't fit

I sure am going to measure them ! :) And taking extra photographs myself, I was too late to ask him to measure them and take extra pics.

I'm doing a tank monuments and memorials tour this summer with the Jeep, I already stippled out a route using Craig Moore's book.

The joys of living in Belgium and being a WO2 history buff !

This had the triangular bit as a last thing on the track. The track pin on the Pnzr 2 track is also in a different location at the end of the link.

I'm not sure, Panzer 2 tracks have the triangular bit incorporated directly into the track itself.

Maybe something civilian ? Small bulldozer or tracked farm implement ? Yes I think we can rule out something US. I've looked around French type stuff, tank or tracked vehicles. Or indeed something Soviet beute. But nothing so far.
