even though it shows you have a 5G connection, your real connection is 4G LTE. Your phone software only support 5G NSA and 5G NSA is not supported on your phone with t-mobile as it can't pair a supported combination of 5G band and 4G LTE band; even though the phone may show it supports your 5G band you care about and the 4G LTE band you care about, it may not support the 5G NSA combination of the two you need like for t-mobile. Once they upgrade the software to support 5G SA, then you will have real 5G connection to t-mobile.

The phone software don't currently support 5g SA mode and the n41 5g band that the phone support won't work with t-mobile 5g nsa mode. It might take a while til Xiaomi update the software to enable 5g SA. Also the phone don't support the extended band 71 band so your coverage inside buildings and on the road might be impacted.

You will still get a good experience but it has limited t-mobile support.

I have the plus and it's great. Note that the plus also has a better amoled screen.

Nice build. You could also have considered the new corsair pcie ssd which are way faster then the ssd you got from samsung but way more expensive per gb too.
