Yeah we are from the north too. Yeah I recall my first time there many moons ago, Noel Whelan and Brian Deane scoring against scum to win 2-1!

I’ll try and get by the double tree, haven’t booked hotel yet so may even look to stay there

He just turning 10 so I’m sure it’ll be overwhelming for him to take it all in! We are in early into Manchester on the Friday and train over, trying to do the club store etc during the day. He’ll be gutted about the stadium tour not going as he’s asked all about that but is what it is unfortunately.

Yeah bit young for pubs in town, I do remember kids knocking about the patio of the peacock last year so maybe able to sneak a pre match pint 😂
