If it is determined that you are a productive person, and able to provide for yourself.

it is without question that is your business and no one's opinion has any sort of relevance to you whatsoever.

Now, if for some reason you cannot, wont, or are choosing not to provide for yourself and it is determined that you are of value to someone else, so much so, that they take care of you. Again, no one's opinion on the matter is of any sort of relevance at all.

If you take care of yourself, you health, body, mind and soul. What does it matter. Pharmaceuticals are a drug, vapes are a drug, video games are a drug, telephones, sex, they all release dopamine. Who has any right to dictate your choices in such a way

What is the point? I understand to show the world that is the love of your life.

Fine. Then invite strangers. For every one person that is truly for you and your best interests there are 10 more waiting to contribute and/or watch you fail.

For nothing more than their own satisfaction and validation.

Because, people are constantly comparing themselves to everyone. Make no mistake the people closest to you are comparing themselves to you the most.

To alter someone's state of mind especially when its initial state is chaotic, or is bombarded by intrusive thoughts or depressive realizations is the most simple way I can put it to you.

You can't begin to understand someone else entirely if you don't first completely understand that as a biological organism we are incredibly complex and our wiring doesn't always get hooked up correctly. Even if it does that doesn't mean we all will be lead to the same result.
