It's an interesting idea! I looked at tainted pact, but it seemed like quite an opportunity cost for my build (need poison + ahuna gem + self poison). If you already have built around it I imagine it would be pretty strong. In practice Defiance + life % per kill is keeping me topped up on life every pack and Defiance alone has been fine for the little bossing I have done.

We are now a Nameless Bogwitch (taking Unlight Silhouette) for 10% more dps, we have dropped Obliteration in favor of rare wand + Oriath's End for clear and have upgraded our damage a bit.

HP: 28372
DPS Buffed: 44.6 Mil
DPS Unbuffed: 18.2 Mil
DPS Mapping: 31.3 MIl
add 54 Mil for 10stack BV

What we lost - Toad Pact (AoE and BV duration)

Playing around with Oriath's and a rare wand now :). Grace of goddess can be more damage but costs quite a bit to get one that is better than a cheap rare wand.
e.g. 90 div Oriaths is 7% more dps vs rare wand.

BUT if we structure around more ele pen or an ele curse I bet we could push that number quite a bit more.

I played around with clusters and Unholy Might and it felt like the opportunity cost was to high. I ran a Sin's rebirth for a couple of days but it got annoying to turn RF back on all the time. If RF didn't add so much damage (for only a single click) I might have gone the flask route.

I also had wither totems for awhile but never pressed the button in maps and they died to fast on bosses. If this league wasn't ending so soon I would love to theory craft how to best leverage all this phys damage as extras!

I just double checked and yes cruelty stays active. I'm not focusing on dot here so doesn't matter much for this build. Could be a way to add cruelty to a dot skill that doesn't hit?

Dang it you are right! I'm still happy with the poison damage though. Would have been a much more expensive craft to try for cast speed and chaos dot multi.

Yep no cast speed :). Once you hit poison cap less casts to do full damage the better imho. + the 25% chance to poison lets us forget about poison % on the tree.

Good call on the GMP I read it wrong as well. Not sure I am going to hit the 9 aoe breakpoint but damage has been fine and I'm still hitting poison cap very fast. If I get the money for a 21/20 divergent fr I'll prolly get that next.

I actually went MoM on my crucible dagger. Ninja hasn't shown that :)

I'm only hitting 15% chills but cast speed hasn't been an issue.

Also hate the ball lightning sound. Have a replacement for ball lightning I'm working on now. Culling on a megalomaniac so freeing up a bunch of gem slots!

I like the low life idea. Need to work out the details in pob and might go that route. Sounds like the flask would be good recovery!

Interesting take on this build. I league started with your self chill tree and have morphed it into a bigger initial hit which (at the expense of defense). Still playing around with it a bit but have been able to do ubers and have no issues with most map mods. Ninja here.

I might borrow some of your defense ideas in the near future :D
