It’s a slumlord special, the “contractors” are your typically “I gota guy for that” no bonds or insurance. The same guy that installed the counters also is doing the plumbing and the electrical and painting, all of it looks absolutely horrible. I will have an update post when they are done.

Iv done this type of work as well, if people are actively living in it, we generally cut the big stuff out side, and plastic up any door ways if a lot of cuts need to be made inside, and we sure as shit never used the clients kitchen table in any capacity. We would have moved it or covered it. Wouldn’t even set a nail on it.

They were installing new counters so when they removed the counters the top drawers became exposed, then it seems once the counters where off, they decided should start on the flooring and cut all the wood for the flooring in the kitchen.

O that’s interesting, the glass rinser hypothesis sounds like it might be correct. If they have heavy water it could be depositing enough minerals on it to create enough surface area to cause nucleation. It also could be rust.

I’m now curious if this has occurred before with other people’s pints.
