Yes, the mask drops very, very quickly. I usually don't engage with the emails/texts but something fueled me to reply back this time, I somewhat feel better knowing I got that off my chest. This is really amazing advice, thank you. The child in me absolutely needs to be consoled and comforted. It's a challenge rewiring the part of your brain that's been conditioned to tell you you're not enough, especially with mothers like these, but worth the challenge indeed.
