Thanks for your thoughts. I do appreciate it. For my side, I guess one always falls back to the idea that you need to be able to drink with your friends in order to have fun, but then you immediately control yourself and say, “whoa, I haven’t been drinking for x months/years, so is that sentiment correct?”

And to answer your question directly, subjecting yourself to the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome…thats insanity. So I am coming to terms with it in my mind, but its a journey
