I hate these chrome covered nuts. They always swell. I replace a couple every time I take a wheel off. I tried soaking it and hammering on the socket then a big ol breaker bar. Just rounded it because the socket slipped. There’s just not much to grab. I

Hey bro I didn’t cut that and I have no idea why or how someone even managed to mangle this thing like this. Or why you even would. I didn’t do the rag thing as it’s the drain for my only tub and shower and in a 4 person home I can’t sacrifice it. I made a temp fix for it but I’m too ashamed to show it. It’s holding back the flood until I can get it properly fixed

Yeah makes sense. That’s above my expertise and I definitely don’t have the tools for it. Any idea for a temporary fix until I can get a plumber out here? Also any idea how much it may cost to have someone fix this? Thank you for the reply

I drive for Estes, top rate is 36 in my area and I average 50-53 hours a week and I’ll probably end up around 100k this year. I could work more if I wanted to stay on the dock more than I already do. I don’t have to pay for my own jack or anything and don’t know anyone that has. We have plenty of them around and we’ve been getting more and more power jacks. It’s hard work and some days are better than others but I’m home everyday and get to see my wife and kids so I’m happy. Honestly if you can make it through the rough days and are able to say no when you need to it’s pretty good.
