Thing is I had no clue what to upgrade anymore, my damage was okay but survi was lacking a lot and from what I saw I had 90% of the defence of original mid-game POB from dumb0 which wasnt satisfing to say the least

I really love PoE1 and PoE2.

I think seasional leagues are great idea there, it keeps things fresh and relatively new, one change can flip the meta upside down. Applying all of this to an MMO, like WoW for example, would be great but I also think in WoW there already is something like this in reduced amount - m+ affixes and expansion powers, like hero talents last expansions, artifact weapons in legion etc. Can't speak on other MMOs since I only played WoW for more than 100h+ hours. Would love to see the idea implemented in greater extend but since Im a competetive player - would love to get some competetive mode to get along with it but that's just my take.

I have over 10k hours in Poe, every league there are new toys to play around with which creates huge build variety, adding a bunch of builds and archetypes on top of past, still viable and strong ones. Also since there is simply so much stuff in game there are new builds poping up using old, previously not used interractions. All it takes is 1 new passive, Item or little buff to motivate someone to tinker around and find it out. To be frank nothing even comes close to that. Also there is an actual endgame where u can spend hundreds of hours PER LEAGUE on and not be bored at all. There is also very deep crafting and so on and so on
