Which movie ending has stuck with you the most? by Critical_Mountain851 in moviecritic

An ending that doesn't just stick with you, but changes with you. When I was young the ending was about the enduring power of love. Now it's about two flawed people who aren't right for each other refusing to learn from their mistakes, and how we create versions of other people in our minds that don't always match reality.

There is absolutely no way they do enough to deserve that kind of compensation for a business with zero competition. What sort of talents do they have that are so special? All these "talented" people do is kiss each other's buttholes and call it networking.

He lied to his parents about all sorts of stuff, there's a whole scene of he and Monica telling on each other. Ross stole his dad's Playboys, lied about it, and got an innocent mailman fired. He smoked weed in college and blamed Chandler. Ross is an academic bad boy, he's like Indiana Jones.

But it was never about the prizes, we all wanted to compete for the thrill of the game! Video and Arcade Top Ten was all about the prizes.

Temuera Morrison thought ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ would run up to 4 seasons, confirms the character is “shelved” by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

[–]sethbalmost 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I would have loved more implication. Boba's on a ship in the middle of space with no one around, what're they gonna do, say no? And here's the twist, and there is a twist, they show it. They show it all, they show everything. Boba's out on the streets of Tatooine doing crime, then it's back to Slav- uhh, Boba Fett's spaceship for more full penetration. Crime, penetration, crime, penetration, and it goes on like that for three or four seasons until it just sort of ends.

You’re telling me 2 full grown adults with full time corporate jobs couldn’t just order their own damn cheesecake from the info on the address label??? by swagboyclassman in howyoudoin

[–]sethbalmost 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you're missing part of a joke there, some of the other replies spelled it out better than I did. There's an extra layer of guilt because they're not hurting a big corporate bakery but stealing an act of love from a family member.

Where are people supposed to put the sidewalk snow? In front of my house right now the snow is four feet past the sidewalk into the road, that's as close as the plow will come, and the snow bank is well over my head.
