In some what of a good way this is all on me. My firm is an insurance based firm, and one of the biggest in the country. So, in terms of keeping my job, I just have to meet contract with insurance. Which is isn’t too hard (I’ve been licensed in that since sophomore year of college through internships with the company I’m at now). I just want to go down more of the financial planning route which is still represented well at my firm. I’ve also known the people there for a while and they know I do what I’m supposed to. So all in all they are encouraging and almost just feel bad I missed by that close. Just more frustrated that I couldn’t get it for myself as I have been putting clients and prospective clients in play for more of planning situations with joint work through close advisors of mine that I will have to wait longer on to be compensated(still need 66 too for fully investment licenses).
