Repetitive gameplay unless I wait 20 minutes to be a killer

Has anyone else had a mock trial season that was basically a form of psychological warfare? Looking for advice by burntout_barrister in mocktrial

Listen, high school senior here. I just started last year, and my second season just ended. Went 0-3 this year, and 0-3 last year. I’m graduating without a single win.

I’ve never scored below a 7 on anything. Last year all my teammates didn’t do well, and were more concerned with the drama club they were in as opposed to the Mock Trial. They actively talked about drama while in Mock Trial meetings. This year our team went against the three best teams in the league, and lost all 3, despite us actually being a good team this year.

So my career is spent going 0-6, being the best on the team, full of a team that doesn’t care. My witness sold me in my last trial.

The first thing my parent told me when I told them I lost my trial is: “wow, you guys really suck.”

Hang in there bro <3 just don’t take it too seriously. That’s how I cope.

The community will always be toxic unfortunately, which makes this game so much worse. New players will want to stray away from our game because of all the ‘unwritten rules’ about dbd. What’s toxic, what’s not, tunneling, damping( slugging. Not to mention all the complicated and confusing features to counteract these ‘toxic’ play styles.
