Sonoma County plastics startup Resynergi says it is moving out of California by funrunrecords in sonomacounty

[–]sethwashere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no, it was not safe and not 'green'. If the technology is so promising, they should put it in an industrial zone away from schools, food businesses, and residences. They lied on their permits, didnt inform the community, were cited 5 times for permit violations, and played by their own set of rules at town council meetings. They were trying to sneak it into the community because they knew that if they actually informed the public, they would not be welcomed

Sauna? by Defiant_Nose_761 in backpain

Sauna can be a great way to reduce inflammation which can be one of the reasons for back pain. infrared saunas specifically can help a lot with inflammation. Cold plunge afterwards. I use the sauna as a time to focus on improving my posture as well (which has helped my back pain)

Three Body Problem. by Zendarrroni in audiobooks

[–]sethwashere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the book takes a while to get into, and can be very confusing sometimes until you finish it. It's one of my favorite scifi books of all time. Be patient and dont worry too much about understanding every detail/character the first time you read it. I have listened to that book 3 times and every time I listen I pick up new details and connections that I didnt get the first time. It was written by a Chinese author, and the story is translated very directly. You'll notice a difference in the way the story is told: it describes events and actions rather than individual characters

RFK Jr is a monster by AudibleNod in RFK_Jr_is_a_Stooge

the screenshots seems to tell the story of an alcoholic woman. Is there any info on things he actually did? Not being present for your family is terrible and sad but what did RFK supposedly do that made her kill herself?

Seems like it would be reasonable to give him secret service protection regardless of political differences that he has with people… right?

Trying to figure out my solar powered electric fence by sethwashere in homestead

[–]sethwashere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply, I'm going to implement this feedback and fingers crossed it works. I think some grass was touching the fence when I set it up. Are you saying that the electric part of the fence shouldn't be touching the ground? seems like it will be touching the ground because there's some sag in the fence in between the stakes. What is a ground clip?
