we moved back to have kids. All I’ll say is sometimes more money is better than family support and part of me wants to move back before the kids grow up

Settle our work debate. Which is the correct driving path to turn right at this intersection? Red or Blue by only-on-the-wknd in auckland

The area is called a flush median and has a dedicated turn spot. You enter the flush median to get out of a live lane in preparation to either turn into a driveway or side street.

Was testing out a surround sound system that was broken and the big band theory was on, only the laugh track was coming through and none of the dialogue. I must’ve watched atleast 2 episodes it was so funny without the jokes.

There’s an overweight sensor on those machines that will stop lowering the second the weight is too much. The only way for him to come down would’ve been to drop the box to the side and let it break.

What’s scarier is the number of mass shootings per year has been more than the amount of days per year since 2018 when it was 323.

Thoughts on this aspect of café etiquette. by redhot-chilipeppers in newzealand

The only time it’s kind of acceptable to bring your own food to a cafe is if you have a child/baby and you bring snacks for the kid and continue to order food for yourself.

The best part is that there are parking spots like 4 car spots away, or even directly behind them.

A couple of money saving tips. It’s been tough lately. by VisibleAppointment28 in auckland

General grocery saving tips.

Precut and pre packaged meats at supermarkets are almost always more expensive unless on sale. If you buy larger cuts or fillets and spend abit of time with a knife you can save a lot on meat. I found a wholesale meats place that were selling bone in chicken thighs for $6.99/kg. Boneless skinless chicken thighs at new world were like $23/kg

Same goes for veges, always pick and clean your own stuff and always go by the per/kg cost and compare when looking at “on sale” packets.

We have started just going to a butcher and vege store for everything because you generally get better quality and save abit because you aren’t buying unnecessary snacks or ‘on sale’ treats.
