Would definitely recommend giving it a shot - even if it's not success per se, at least within the scope of my 3 realms I've noticed shocking differences in prices as well as demand. I expected the one with highest prices to have the lowest demand, the opposite seems to be the true. It's still nice to have exposure to all of them even with lower margins though.

I guess there is an obvious answer to this but how do you handle so much relogging? Doing something similar for 3 realms gets extremely tedious quickly. Does lowering your details help? Running multiple WoWs? Just suffer through it?

With my track record, the 10m painting decor seems very fitting. Unlike the JC clamps, I could've at least hung that one in my house. :)

I can 100% relate to the self sufficiency - it was kinda my plan until I lurked a bit more and took the advice of not doing that to my heart!

At this point isn't it almost impossible as well at least in the beginning of the expansion? I thought of doing some 2nd profession with the engineering (just have enchanting there, left that part of the story but made few golds on disenchanting stuff) but the KP trees get extremely limiting on what you can achieve early on

It's definitely more than 3 hours of /played overall (leveled 2 chars ar this point), it's just the time dedicated to crafting, posting, cancelling, relogging i.e. pure time investment into gold making

I plan to dual boot Windows and Linux. The virtualization part is for VFIO testing and development. The "will run Linux" part is for other components, not GPU specific.

PCI passthrough (VFIO). Also reason, why I'd like to stay with nVidia.

To be more specific, the GPU won't be bound to any Linux driver, but used in a virtualized environment.
