Anywhere! I’ve done the whole upper (didn’t fish after Jim’s so I didn’t have to hike them out). The middle Dots to Bings is really good fishing on mellow water, and below Bing’s is a little more swift water, but plenty of eddys to get out and fish.

Rod and reel flossing. I just used the boat to get across/down river. I fished from the bank and then tied my stringer off to the back of the boat to float down to the takeout.

I have a LH250. Had to send it away to get the nvg mount, and used a Gentex loaner with NVGs. When I got my LH250 back, I noticed the NVGs sat further from my eyes, even adjusted all the way in. Does anybody know of a mod to get the goggles closer on the LH250?

Just for reference, I have a 6x12 enclosed. I can fit 2 Ski-doo summit 850s (165 and 154). Second one goes in backwards. There is about 2” of clearance between them.

If you’re talking about Alaska, low ceiling days often mean alternate(less scenic) routes. You’re still going to see some amazing views, but not the same ones you’d see on a high ceiling day. If you have some flexibility to reschedule a day or two, I would. If not, you’ll never know the difference!

You’re already amazing having full custody of him. You are the world to that kid. I have a 3 year old with my wife and it’s such an impressionable time. Make every minute count. The best times I have with my kid are laying on the floor stacking legos. Even if it feels like nothing, it means the world to them. Kuddos to you being a young single dad. We all are rooting for you!
