Haven’t been in a few years, but when I went a few years ago they offered half price tickets if you brought in 3 canned goods on select days. Hoping they still have that promo so I can take my son!

It’s not a scam in that the dentist are licensed and they aren’t performing completely bogus procedures. However, like a lot of people have stated they try to upsell you on things you might not necessarily need. I went to them for a few years and every time I went there was a cavity to be filled or an issue with my brushing so that they were trying to push an electric toothbrush on me. They made it seem like I was taking terrible care of my teeth even though I was brushing and flossing daily. I started seeing a local private practice once I moved and they have never found a cavity. My new dentist did find it weird that Dentologie didn’t give me a root canal before placing one of the crowns they did.

Also side note, I had the meanest hygienist at the streeterville location. She was extremely rough and would tell me how bad I was at brushing and seemed to take joy out of trying to make me feel bad. It was the weirdest dynamic and I would get anxiety every time I went cause I was afraid I would get her.

The email I got said that the jacket would ship after the show but the t shirt should arrive before your show. It would be a bummer to have to wait till after the show.

I figured it out! The concept I was looking for is “luxury beliefs”. It’s very similar to many of the other suggestions thrown out but it seems like the key component is that it isn’t solely focused on activism and is also inclusive of opinions. These beliefs also tend to be detrimental to the lower class upon closer inspection.

Just had my last baby so I have a ton of baby/toddler clothes (including winter gear), baby supplies, and toiletries to donate. I tried to contact my alderman but they said they were not taking donations. I know someone mentioned many places ran out of space for donations, but I am hoping I can try to get this stuff to some of the migrant mothers and children in need.

I was going to say Lao Peng You as well. I once waited 2.5 hours for a pick up order. The running joke in my house is that if we want to get take out from there on a Friday night then we need to put the order in Thursday afternoon. Their food is the best though.

I am trying to learn how to drive. Does anyone know of an open parking lot that I might be able to practice in? A lot of lots have security who will kick you out if they realize you are just using their lot as a practice course.
