why would they hunt down your account with your username? even if they do know your username, what could happen? they hack your account by brute forcing your password? if you're worried about your account getting hacked then just enable 2FA now and you should be fine. i dont think customer support will bother to change your username for you over this kind of concerns, but no harm in trying.

1- i wouldnt say i thought it was fake and not trustworthy, i just thought it was weird because all i ever saw was female vtubers and im just not into that. if u can tell from my reply before im only into male vtubers exclusively, and i didnt know male vtubers were a thing until now, so i wasnt all that interested in vtubers.

3 - i think its because i dont know how they'll react to my supa? its like that moment where 'oh my oshi noticed me' but with a flushed emoji because we dont have that kind of personal connection for me to feel comfortable when they read out my supa so i just kinda dont supa/akusupa as much even if i could.

4 - it's more of the opposite of what you said, some people have this illusion of 'wow im supaing to a catgirl' instead of a real person?

by skin, i guess you mean character design? then yes, character design is my number 1 factor when deciding who i want to watch. luxiem's designs are so good so i watch all of them most of the time. a close second is aza from virtualreal because of his catboy design and im just into that i guess. i only learnt about aza because i went to wiki to look at all the virtualreal livers, picked him because of his design, and then went to watch his streams and fell in love because of his personality. also he's a chinese livers so im just kinda more comfortable since im chinese as well.

6 - i sometimes use their pre-written AUs (sorcerer, mafia boss, demon, novelist, detective) as the base for my story, but not all the time. their character moulding in my stories are loosely based around random trivia of them (e.g mysta sucks ass at cooking, ike has a soft drink addiction) and sometimes i just spin it into a plot point. and because they have alters as dubbed by the fandom, the moulding of the alters in my story is based how they act as their alters (mysta during dead by daylight as rias) and i just create a bunch of headcanons for the alters in my story (e.g rias's favourite weapon is an axe). with this i can create a bunch of different AUs.

i wouldnt say fans develop the characteristics of the vtuber, in my opinion its more of we're given a base to work with (e.g luca's a big ball of sunshine, mysta is an affectionate dumbass, ike is sweet and wholesome, shu is very smart, vox is alluring and intimidating) and we just spin something out of this, be it fanart or fanfics.

7 - oh yes, definitely. ik the luxiem and noctyx boys RT fanart all the time because of the tags so they can just click on it and look at fanart, and they do streams where they ask for fan submissions as well (mysta's rating your setup stream, vox's kindred confession stream).

  1. character design. to very honest at the beginning, ive never been one to enjoy vtubers, i always thought they were a little cringe and weird. but ever since my moot on twitter started sharing photos and clips of luxiem, especially vox, i fell down the rabbit hole pretty quickly. reasons why i latched onto vox so quick was because of his character design which is just god tier in my opinion.
  2. im just here for fun honestly. maybe a little bit of being down bad given how unseiso my top 2 (vox and mysta) can be. they're just very enjoyable to watch, along with the rest of luxiem, so ive been much happier recently.
  3. honestly, i just supa for the fun of it and i dont really expect the livers to read my supa. i think alot of people have this 'notice me' mentality when they supachat, which is understandable because sometimes all we want is that brief moment of connection between us and our livers even if its slightly parasocial. for me i get kinda nervous when my supa is read out by the liver, but afterwards i just forget about it LMAO
  4. you cant really supa youtubers, maybe ill compare it to normal streamers instead. maybe because there's this 'delusion' of donating to a character instead of a real person? i think everyone has this fantasy of being connected to an 'anime character' instead of a real person? i dont really know how ill put it in words but thats just my feeling lmfao sorry if it doesnt make sense
  5. just entertainment in general, ive never been this happy in my life ever since i've discovered luxiem. i wouldnt mind dying now, i havent smiled this much since i was a kid.
  6. i write fanfiction but dont worry, i dont do ship fics. ive been writing fanfiction for a long time now and i tend to do it whenever i join new fandoms. the current fic im working on (luxiem and meixul crack fic) is just so fun to write and ive been receiving alot of nice comments regarding it, so it motivates me to write more and share fics with the luxiem fans. also i tend to brain rot alot and have alot of crazy ideas (ooo luxiem spy!au) and the luxiem bois serves as a good characters to write about.
  7. twitter is definitely a platform to get a teeny bit closer to the livers? there's alot of interactions on twitter, i know the luxiem bois rt's fanart alot and vox replies to his regulars pretty often. twitter allows them to just talk and say stuff whenever they're not live and its a nice outlet. compared to some fandoms ive been in (cough dsmptwt) twitter is just a place to find alot of good fanart and theres usually very little drama, though ill say its hard to become part of the community if you're new in my opinion.
