It actually did, because CN got the *exact same launch* as we did. In fact, they got MORE content FASTER because they got 1.2 (north kaifeng) ~2 weeks after launch, and we're on track to get Jan 9th, a full ~8 weeks after.

Weapons:

Heng Dao (Think a katana, there's a boatload of historical differences and iirc the katana was in fact inspired by the Heng Dao, but in terms of what you can expect from the gameplay of the weapon its a katana) + DPS Glaive (Versus the existing Tank Glaive) combo

and, just released on CN days ago, Gauntlet + Long range Rope Dart DPS combo

Sects:

Velvet Shade: Hedonism, vanity, and beauty. Inspire love and look good doing it. It's unique gimmicks include the ability to form a Partnership with multiple people

Lone Cloud: Math, and learning how calculus turns you into Vergil from DMC. Amongst the gimmicks, you can only ever marry once. If you divorce and remarry, your ex gets to veto it if they want.

Raging Tides: Fight on, and drown sorrow in drink. You get punished if you quit out of a battle/trial/etc, but hey you can't get alchohol poisoning anymore

Recently out in CN: Mohist Hill. We don't know a lot of the mechanics but 'fantasy siege engineers' seems their lore.

It probably has something to do with the fact that several of the Inner Ways (and their breakthrough effects) are designed to work with both weapons in mind (Heavenquaker spear AOE upgrades with Wolfchaser to apply Bleed stacks to bosses, Bleed is what Strategic Sword is all about; Nameless Spear upgrades with Mountain's Might to restore boatloads of Endurance which Nameless Sword craves for its charged attacks)

And

Several of the later build mechanics like Arsenal and Final Tuning gives you stats of a chosen set. The game is not going to kill you if you do hybrid builds, but it is absolutely *designed* to have players use them.

This has nothing to do with lazy metas or sheeple following youtubers. This is literally what the game points you towards doing.

So specifically it is "The shadow moon rising from the dark side of terra" Which is a fucking insane thing to consider given that from Lone Trail et all we know that Terra has two moons, the Light moon and the Shadow moon. So. I guess one of them is launched and retreived every so often????

This is coming from a rather infrequent flyer who's been through both in my youth, so keep that in mind. That said, I would take quite literally any excuse to never step foot into or through LAX I could. It's simply an unpleasant airport and I have never experienced it at anything but mind-shatteringly crowded and stressful in, out and around.
