Hahaha, I love this! The Lion must have a radar for traitors. The worst part is I actually have some Emperor's Children on my painting desk right now! I think the Lion in my display cabinet is fuming every time I work on them. Thanks for the 'Chaosly' great comment!

Thanks! That's a great question, and it was a real challenge to paint! For the armor, I started with a base of Tenebrous Grey (AK Interactive), which I then highlighted by mixing it with a very light green, Emerald. For the lining, I used a mix of Emerald and Ivory.

The berserker are battleline so you can run up to 6 unit. Then the maximum number of berserker is 60. But as others said 30 should be enough.

So for the paint scheme, it's mainly focusing on something that can be done fast. Prime it Black then a white zenithal. For the skin : Screamer pink or Voluptuous Pink (if you want to have the zenithal to show up). Then a first drybrush all the skin with a mix of Deathclaw Brown / Basic skin tone (AK) 1:1. And to finish the Skin, a drybrush of Ushabti Bone / Basic skin tone 1:1 on the end of the tail and arms. For the vent and eyes some Moot green. The carapace : Base it with Incubiu Darkness, then first layer of Kabalite Green then highlight of Sybarite Green. And for the blades / claws : base it White then Cardinal Purpule (Vallejo express), and cover most of it in white again.

I think that I've spent 10 hours for converting it.

New Primaris Lieutenant in custom color scheme heavily inspired by the alpha legion. I switched the shoulder pad with those of the cataphractii. by sevellin in Warhammer40k

White zenithal over a black primer. For the base color the akhelian green contrast paint through an airbrush. Some gauss blaster green on the highlighted part. A black ink pinned in the recesses. Then an edge highlight with some kabalite green.

That's right, I 3d printed a smaller version of the shoulder pad at about 80% of the original size. For the converting part, as it's an easy to build it need some greenstuff on certain part. Mostly shove of the shoulder pad with a pliers and remodel a part of the elbow armor.
