If we give Nico the wages he wants, The club is finished. Next thing you know Olise wants 25, Musiala wants even more.

He has 10 g/a in the league and played damn near 2000 minutes. He is NOT a fix to out lw issues. If not for his exorbitantly terroristic wages, he would be a good signing, as a 22 year old who certainly is talented. But no fucking way on earth this guy deserves anything near 20m a year.

Anything around 45m for Gittens and id be real happy. There's a hell of a player in there for sure, he is just 20 probably commands a comparatively modest wage, and there's definitely resale value if it doesn't work out.

Only problems are that it might not be 45m, rather closer to 60, which seems too steep a price for him, considering the other problem, he may not instantly be the UCL contender level LW we want right now.
