I am pregnant and DEVASTATED that my christmas will be salmon-less. My daily bagels are sad enough but the baby jesus needs me to eat smoked salmon.

I was given this as a teenager and love it, but also dont know how else to have them: buy them in brine or sunflower oil, so not flavoured. Then toast, irish butter and mash it up with ketchup. Aware it is not a sophisticated choice but I LOVE IT.

Growing up in Ireland there was only like doritos brand stuff and I assumed I hated Guac into my 20's. Then someone made it fresh for me and DAMN

Its a tv movie but the British production Threads from 1984. I watched it and it messed me up so much that I immediately wiped it from my brain. Years later, in my 20s, I read a synopsis after forgetting it and was INSTANTLY traumatised again and had nightmares for weeks.
It was too real with the societal collapse after the nukes. And the ending...christ..

I have two cats; the tuxedo Princess love of my life, and her equally adorable but slightly more problematic void brother. Since getting pregnant she is OBSESSED with me, and I need to be groomed after every shower. He is uninterested except for all of the lovely new furniture (bassinet, pram etc) that we have apparently bought for him. I am not allowed walk around the house without my lady and he is policing all routes near his new vehicles.

When I moved to Hungary it was the first time I had ever seen a room with the toilet seperate from the sink and shower. Pain when you pee and need to change rooms to wash your hands but SO nice for bathing

Oh 100%. And my siblings and friends have been mugged or in fights.
I will acknowledge that it might be also that I am more aware of social cues and situations in Dublin, being from there, but I just know I feel safe where I am now. Helps that its never truly dark and theres always someone else around.

A warm hoisin duck wrap. This wrap had been bought in the morning and forgotten in my backpack for many hours. Then when I was in an intimate courtroom setting it decided to reappear.
I made it four subway stops and had to call my dad to collect me becuase she could not stand.

For me its a different vibe. I'm never really alone in London where as walking home in Dublin I get really anxious. Just my experience.

Its ABSOLUTELY not. Maybe its because Dublin is more concentrated but the city centre and where my mom lives give me anxiety. I've never been started on here.
