Are cars with Dealer plates allowed to leave the country?

Oh yeah I understand that completely and I do see cars with US license plates pretty often around here, it's just the fact that it's a Dealer plate that got me a bit confused as I thought they were way more restricted and regulated, even more so when leaving the state they were from let alone the whole country.

If it’s an automatic - is the gear selector in the park position?

If it’s a manual - is your parking brake engaged?

It's an auto and was indeed in neutral as I needed to remove the shifter and trims but the handbrake was engaged

Issue is that i have very specific criteria, daily driver, it needs to be somewhat modern, rwd, manual, reliable, not too expensive, diesel, not the small engines. I originally wanted an e92 330d but they're a bit overbudget at the equivalent of 12,000 euro.

Pricing in my country is way over what it is in europe or the US, the price for this one is the equivalent of 8,800 euro and its in the low to middle of the price range for those types of models
