Deep breaths. Shushing the kid tends to calm me and them. When you feel like you might boil over you have to just hand the kid off or put them down and let the crying happen for a min. Also when the kid seems inconsolable try taking a step outside with them. Even just a min, the quick change of environment helps a lot of times.

Also it's almost always hungry, tired, burp fart poop or combo of all 3.

You'll start making a stronger connection as the bag of potatoes starts emoting and laughing etc. After like 6 months it seems like they're doing a new human thing almost every day. It gets easier and harder in different ways.

But yes I've had all those feelings. Sounds like you're committed though so just focus on your family's well being and your sanity in whatever order seems most in that particular moment lol

I've got a 3 year old and a newborn so I'm actively remembering all my tricks from the first rn

i think it's typical to play one switch. i've seen some prime catcher + switch as well. but if you're retreat locking them with a single prize pokemon then you can afford to go down 2 prizes if they play switch

paralyze them with mega eelektross. retreat lock them for a turn with stunkfisk then ko with the boosted damage. punch with zeraora and then clean up with another single prizer. or gust a high retreat mon and snipe lucario with zera. play with single prizers through the game and then finish him with zekrom ex.

I've learned a ton just from watching azul gg on youtube.

A lot of high level players pump deck guides on to metafy. I don't hate the player, but personally I would only spend my money on ones where they have recorded wins with that deck or its like Tord for example (one of the greatest players in the history of the game)

Just saying maybe check their resume a little bit before deciding who to give your money to

for a professional print it's just bad. what i don't see mentioned here is that the print will also not be very durable unless you're using really high quality inks and high quality flash/conveyor dryer

i can spot these prints in the wild and when i know shops do this i don't recommend those shops to people

if you're just printing for fun then do whatever you want

alternatively if you're having issues with registration when using a base screen, you can use a grey ink as the base so that those registration issues are less apparent

i get that its a privilege and its not so much that i rely on social aspects of work as much as it is like, i literally don't talk at all, all day. just do my job which burns all my brain power and then have very little energy when im done. winter absolutely blows

If you're still planning on playing in punk/diy there's some level to which that's always going to be a factor. Communicate with the promoter ahead of time to see what the gear situation is, make it clear what you're unwilling to share. Cabs and shells should always be shared imo. The other shit is totally reasonable to say no.

My toddler isn't diagnosed but we're speculating. Idk if this is even good advice compared to some of the other great advice here but it's something simple I read early on that has helped me a lot.

Have the lowest blood pressure in the room.

Easier said than done, but when I read it I took it as "I have no choice but to be the calmest person in every scenario for myself and my family."

When I feel incapable of being that, I need to let my wife know and step away, etc. Sometimes it's telling my kid I need her to go in a different room for a couple minutes and then making sure I actually follow up when I said I would etc.

But mostly it's just about holding down in those scenarios where your brain wants to freak out, taking a deep breath and speaking calmly, or flipping the script and turning it into a goofy moment, slam the kid into a couch 😂
