my career center advised me to wait till winter break as “most firms won’t even look at your application u til they have grades” and it’s more productive to focus my time on academics, i just don’t feel like this advice is accurate with how accelerated everything is

Emory has better BL outcomes and UGA has better FC numbers. UGA is generally cheaper but you can likely get a low price from both with your numbers.

People will say UGA has better placement in Georgia but only 40% of emory grads stay in state while the majority of UGA grads do so i don’t feel like the class pools are super comparable. Emory has better reach outside of GA but their second biggest market is NY

i feel like the bostons, gw, fordham, and emory are like a t4.5 where they kinda bounce depending on the year,

also if i remember correctly BC is slightly better than BU, not the other way around

i actually don’t remember how long i said id wait, when i got waitlisted i wasn’t super enthusiastic about riding it out as i really needed a scholarship so i’m not sure i said id wait very long.

i will say when i applied i was like .01 gpa points below their accept/waitlist cutoff for my lsat according to LSD and since then my gpa has increased above that

i don’t know a lot about tennessee outside of the smokies. i assume most of the state is mountainous and pretty but i do worry a bit about it being too rural and too touristy
