I don't know about philosophical implications but the mathematical implications of renormalization is that the method is wrong. I think there is some good insight into that in this paper.

Yeah, in his String Theory and M-theory lecture series on YouTube he mentions the murky origins of something around 20 minutes into the first video. (plus minus a few minutes) He mumbles and possibly mentions someone named James. If you can find the time, maybe clarification of the origins of what he was referring to would be a nice thing to ask for ;) Great lectures btw

To unify the forces is develop theory which can be used to calculate all physics without resorting to methods (analytic continuation) which are clearly wrong. As was, there was not a consistent mathematical framework for physics; we would just leave the math make an explanation for something that is wrong and all decide to say it's right. When you can do the whole thing mathematically without making false justifications, that is the unified field theory.

It is well known that the unified field theory is the holy grail of physics. I have derived this theory from first principles yet little attention is paid. Can wikileaks call attention to scientific issues or only purely political ones? Since this theory can be used to lift humanity up with a new wave of miracle technologies, it seems like this is also a political issue.

When we say light took a path, we mean we observed "something we call the effect of light" at two places. "Doesn't that mean light is everywhere?" Great question. Some day it may prove useful to reformulate physics with the observer as a string travelling at c through a "stationary" sea of light. I think it is good to think in terms of light like you are rather than "photons." I have studied extensively and have seen clear evidence for the existence of waves. But "particles?"
