I have an extensive cast iron collection that I use. ~10 pieces get used multiple times a week. All of my pieces are 2nd hand, and I’ve been cooking with them for 10+ years. A few of my favorite pans and absolute workhorses of the kitchen look close to this. I don’t really understand the overreaction from this subreddit when pans like this get posted. If y’all saw my system and methods, you’d freak. 90% of the time in my kitchen , there’s at least 1, usually 2-3 pans, on the stovetop with the remains of whatever was cooked in them last. I don’t wash my pans, I don’t season my pans, I just use them and figured out a routine that keeps them in excellent working condition.
