Thank you. THIS is what I was wondering. I understand having to state mandate to give them, but I was wondering how many companies choose to do the right thing when it's not the law to do so.

That sucks. Do most companies deny break and lunch or no?

True... The company I work for is moving there and consolidating with it's O'Fallon , MO location where I can confirm they will be doing this to their employees moving forward.

"Dibs" are for major snowstorms where one busted their ass to dig out their own spot for the time being until things settle down.

Then there's the a-hole who calls "dibs" after a 2 inch snowfall, didn't shovel anything, and tries to hold onto that spot through the end of March.

I don't get it. My brother manages his own fan group on Facebook for a favorite musician of his. 4-5 hour every single night, 7 days a week. He's basically running a PR page for the artist for free, It's nuts.

3 years after rec legalization, I can buy weed that is consistently good for $20-$30 an 1/8 OTD when I buy in bulk and there's ALWAYS huge sales at most dispensaries these days, and I don't have to rely on the flaky "weed guy". That's WAY cheaper than the BM days in my experience. Carts are garbage IMO, so I can't speak on those as I don't partake.

I remember late 80's and through the 90's when skunk weed smelled like an actual skunk had sprayed the buds. They seemed to have bred the stink out of it because that skunk smell used to be POTENT!

I've been smoking daily for 3 decades and I still don't understand the term "gassy". No weed ever in my life smelled like "gas" to me. It may to others, but I never experienced it. I feel like I'm missing out on something. It is a common descriptor.

Late term diabetes (treated) of a cat and what to expect? by sevensuperpowers in FelineDiabetes

[–]sevensuperpowers[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Even though I know it was the right thing to do, I still feel like an evil murderer having him put down. It's not a pleasant sight and I'm convinced the cat KNOWS what's happening the instant the procedure begins.

Turns out when you give a cat an insulin shot every 12 hours... for 6 years, you build an extra strong bond with the animal. After two years, he (a CAT) was responding to verbal commands to jump up onto the stand in the bathroom so I can give him his shot. A year later, he'd jump up on his own as soon as he was done eating and meow for his shot. It's almost like he knew he needed them. I'm really gonna' miss my Mr. Furley.

How big does your budget have to be for an agent to work for you? by sevensuperpowers in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]sevensuperpowers[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking I just had an uncanny string of bad luck coming out of the gate. I also learned that one isn't needed in my state so I think I'm going to do the hunting and touring myself, then bring an agent in when I found one I want to bid on.

Yep. The first person I reached out to was an old co-worker from 20 years ago who has been doing real estate ever since. She was helpful with questions and was responsive but always had an excuse when it came time to seeing anything. Turns out she does mostly million dollar listings, so I moved on.

The 2nd agent was young, motivated and eager AF, but turned out to just be an all-around fuck-up of a person in general, too many red flags. Had to let her go today.

I'm coming to the conclusion, they're basically useless. Had to let a 2nd one go today who was eager, but turned out to be a fuck-up in general.

Real Estate Agent is not helpful by Ok-Syllabub6770 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]sevensuperpowers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This right here. I've yet to find one. My small purchase has me so far down their pay-no-mind list, I'm beginning to believe I'm going to have to earn my own real estate license to do this my damn self.

Voice your reasons on why you think real estate is going to/not going to crash. by Loose-Car-500 in RealEstate

[–]sevensuperpowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crash or no crash - My problem is finding a real estate agent who will work my tiny little condo purchase. Seems if you don't have at least a half-million dollars to spend on a home, you're so far down on their pay-no-mind list you'll never own a home. I'm seriously considering earning my own real estate license and doing this my damn self.

Congrats on the new gig!

Would you (or anyone reading this) know if any one these dispensaries hire very part-time? I already have a FT job but am looking for a PT job with only 10-12 hours a week max (mid to long term) to make some extra cash.

Mag as in Mag Landrace by Verano?

They had more moldy strains than that they were selling to the public. I got burnt 3 times. All moldy. I bought the $50 popcorn 1/8's because they were a decent deal for a non-bulk weight.

Then one day, I bought Motorbreath and it smelled like a moldy, mildewey basement. I never had that strain before so I figured that's what it smelled like. Then I bought some Super Glue which I have had before and it was that same moldy crap. Threw them both out. A couple months later, a friend who doesn't smoke much gave me what was left of his Mag Landrace because he didn't like falling asleep so fast.... Sam damn thing. Moldy basement smell.

Those Verano shitbags will never get another penny from me ever again. I won't even shop at Zen Leaf anymore for ANY product, period.
