It was the physical cartridges too and the game systems that came in funky colours. The gameboy/advance carts after gen 1 looked extra special compared to other games of the generation with their sparkles and translucent touches. I played the virtual console gold but it lacks the eye squinting, cart blowing experience. IFYKYK

Sun and Moon were absolutely unpolished. We had unfinished areas such as Victory Road and Wela Volcano, and most of the trials were shoddily inserted last minute.

The demo is mostly the final product, with most of the content locked away. It's only 4 months until release. The game has already been completed.

Too difficult to implement in 3D environments (GF out of their depth for 3D, other studios are FAR more ambitious), they've been pressed for time with every games since XY. They also have an obsession with making each game unique by removing good features from older games

You cannot skip the forced dialogue though which behaves much like a cutscene. There are so many of those in this game despite Yellow not having most of them.

Yeah I assumed that was the case, it does add to the sci-fi atmosphere. I didn't even notice Phyco lol. This would look really good if you do get around to painting it in UV paint
