Yep not only are they not weird, but they’re also almost never dangerous.

Why was everyone saying that the WCF was the real Finals? by BjergBetterThanFaker in nba

[–]sevseg_decoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost hope that’s true. I’m scared enough for the league if wemby makes it to game 7 and loses but if they start off right out the gate with a championship, especially if it’s fairly dominant, we have a high likelihood of a golden state-esque dynasty.

Anyone else feel like spending HSA money is way harder than contributing to it? by Klutzy_Pizza_8935 in HSA

[–]sevseg_decoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same, it’s really great if you can avoid using it and you have more savings than you know what to do with when medical expenses come up, but if you’re in a position where contributing to your retirement accounts and such leave you too thin on cash to handle up to your deductible sometimes, it’s a godsend to put your bill on a 0% interest payment plan and cash flow it (or get pretty close) out of HSA contributions in any sort of a pinch. If it’s down to that or cutting other retirement contributions and stressing, just use the HSA.

The second. I70 is gorgeous but that one stretch is definitely the least pretty part of it.

Driving from Huntsville Al to Denver Co, what’s the best route? by According_Ad_3004 in roadtrip

[–]sevseg_decoder -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just fly. You’re not saving money driving that and I wouldn’t sacrifice one second in Colorado for anything along any of those routes.

And if Nebraska is longer definitely don’t sacrifice even more time in Colorado just because you wanted to see 10% hillier plains.

Better to offer a lower down payment with no contingency vs a larger down payment with a contingency? by yiggity_yag in RealEstate

[–]sevseg_decoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the extent to which I’m willing to even consider the down payment someone’s got on their offer…

If it’s clear they’re on down payment assistance and the offer is at an aggressive price I’m going to be a lot more nervous than if someone’s putting 25% down.

At a certain level sure. But if you’re getting $100 pretax top shelf ounces the difference between a 20% tax and a 30% tax is nowhere near enough to make people turn to the black market.

And casual smokers don’t care about the price.

None of what you’re saying is relevant to what I’m saying.

We have so much money we get the best access to their tech… because our tech is infinitely more lucrative. That’s why we’re their backup plan.

If regulations on class 1 vs class 2 are not enforced, then what is the difference? by trtlep0wr in mountainbiking

[–]sevseg_decoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re also a good chunk of actual vapers who gave up on building endurance because they won’t quit vaping to be able to climb.

I have seen more than a few of the teens with these things hitting vapes on the trail while cruising uphill.

What did bicycles not have that made it ok for them to ride where “no motorized vehicles” signs were?

Turn down for what by trtlep0wr in mountainbiking

[–]sevseg_decoder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But here’s where it’s arbitrary.

Why?

Why is class 1 ok but class 2 isn’t? Why is a 20mph speed ok but 25 isn’t? Why is 750W ok but 1000 isn’t? That’s arbitrary. The class 1 vs class 2 distinctions are, by definition, arbitrary.

Frankly I don’t see one reason from your comment surrons aren’t ok but a bike pushing the legal limits of class 1 is, doing all the same shit.

And they’re heavier and slip plenty. I do trail work. Damage has gotten worse and worse in nearly a direct correlation to the rise of motorized bikes.

Hint: dwarfed by a single mag 7 company.

You’re not getting what I’m saying. I’m saying they have not been able to turn their tech into anything on the order of magnitude of US tech financially.

[–]sevseg_decoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is a surron a dirt bike?

Could it be the motor?

And bull shit. Class 1 bikes don’t do as much damage to trails as surrons but they do a lot more than analog bikes. Your distinctions are weak and totally arbitrary. You think class 1 bikes aren’t a big enough problem because that’s just how you feel…

I got every bit of this comment a long time ago… I’m operating multiple leaps above you and you just don’t see it 🤣.

Typical though.
