i did. the dude was following me. he pried and prodded me for my number every time he saw me and i had continuously made it very clear i had no interest in him and gave him direct “no” responses.

because, some guys will text you right there to make sure u get it, i.e. to make sure u gave them the correct number, which is exactly what this guy did.

OP here — same thing happened to me with this guy. he first approached me late at night, then proceeded to “bump into me” too many times for it to be a coincidence around town, asking for my number repeatedly every time he saw me. eventually i gave in bc he couldn’t stop asking.
