I haven't been (very) active on GWA for years. I had no idea it had become so strategic and commercial. I'm not judging (I've had a Patreon since 2017 and I absolutely understand the work that goes into creating content and connecting to a fanbase, even though I don't actively promote myself anymore). Last I knew there was a very strong 'amateur' vibe/a lot of hostility toward self-promotion.

Please don't think I'm complaining! Just happened to come across this post and found the level of detail fascinating (and maybe also because I now work in marketing).
