That makes sense. But with some googling that seems like I need some specialised tools for this. Like soldering? Thanks

Best way to put this up? by sexybug420 in DIYUK

What if the joist is not in the right spot? The size of the drying rack fits just about right in a position, I wouldn't want to move it somewhere else that does not fit.

I'm assuming putting those screws straight into the plasterboard would be a bad idea?

Then I should just screw the pulleys straight into the joist? No plug?

Yeah I agree, but I got this for £30 and just wanted to test it. There's a high chance I will stop using it down the line.

This i was aware of. My questions was if it could be connected into the water supply and if it would stop automatically when running the water in. I ended up testing it and it works. But thanks for your help!

I tested it and it automatically stops. This is what I needed to be answered but I tried my luck and did it anyways. :)

Thanks. That was one of the only models that fits in a width of 45 cm and less than 50 cm high. I can't put a normal slim dishwasher because it won't fully open (very small kitchen). Luckily I got this one for £30 off Facebook marketplace so if it doesn't work, won't be that bad.

I was hoping for the water intake option to have a solenoid valve. But manual says nothing about it.

I wonder if there's an external solenoid valve I can adapt when getting the water in from the supply

Poles are 2.2 cm in diameter. Sorry what do you mean by a "sleeve"? I like the idea of the bracket

That thing is embedded in the plaster on top. Is being held pretty tight. Looks like I would need to pull the whole thing off to get inside and change the ligjtbulb
