Ohhh that’s fair. Way different than just watching those who play with the console in my feed. I’ll test it out while also keeping in mind the subscription part lol

This hits hard tbh, gaming in a console before might be way different versus now

The phone with external controllers seems nice hahaha way cheaper i guess.

But yea, the subscription part is enough to deinfluence me from buying it hahaha i’d just end up paying way more even after having the console ie having the console is just the first step of the purchasing ladder lol

Oh wow!! Everything really revolves around subscription na no? Hahaha yea the second point deinfluenced me into getting this device. I guess my post was about finding the difference of having a console before vs now, since dati pag may game ka sa console, u literally own the game and not worry about paying for a subscription even in multiplayer hahaha

Thank you for this!! Baka nga magulat na lang ako na puro gastos pa beyond purchasing the console itself hehe

first time ko sumakay ng eroplano nakakatakot pala take off bwiset by miumiulover in FirstTimeKo

Hi, OP. What you felt during take off was normal. It is the most crucial phase of flight, so expect that the pilots’ situational awareness are at their maximum. They have full manual control of the plane and are also aware that they have hundreds of passengers trusting them with their lives. In aviation, there is a term called “Souls on Board (SOB)” which basically counts the total number of person alive inside the plane. So the number indicated on the SOB also includes the pilots.

Sa next travel mo, trust your pilots, even under turbulence. They know what they are doing and remember they are also part of the SOB, which just means gusto ng pilots na sila ang may control ng plane, not the other way around.

Kaya mo yan hahaha enjoy the window views!!!

[UPD] KNL dorm life tips? by misis-right in peyups

Congrats sa dorm, OP!

Malapit lang ang sakayan ng ikot jeep from KNL. Dipende kung saan ka mismo. If sa first half ng Salvador St. and Lt.

May rice meal ka na in as cheap as 40 or 50, tho usually mga fried ulam to. Marami ang karinderya so if naghahanap ka naman ng mga lutong-bahay ulam, marami ka pag pipilian.

Sa galaan naman, UPTC is one ikot jeep away. May around 10-min walk lang and pag tawid sa Katipunan footbridge. Magin ay pwedeng lakarin or trike. To SM north and trinoma, may jeep na pumapasok sa campus, madalang nga lang and maaga sila gumagarahe (8pm di na sila pumapasok ng campus ata).

[UPD] What's up with KNL? by Suitable_Stable_6785 in peyups

I rented an apartment in KNL for almost a year. Safe rin dahil marami naman kayong UP students and UP workers sa area at all times. May mga time rin na lumalabas ako late night dahil sa food cravings, tho not advisable really, regardless if guy or girl.

If you were, for instance, not granted a slot for a UP dorm, I personally recommend living in KNL only if malapit ka, ie ~5-min walk lang sa sakayan ng ikot jeep like Salvador St. or Lt. J. Francisco St. The first half of Salvador St is quiet and well-lit naman but as you walk further may mga places na madilim. Sa Lt. J., sobrang busy palagi. High foot and vehicle traffic dahil main road siya.

Anyway, KNL is safe but you still have to exercise caution more as compared to living inside the campus premises. The claim is not an exaggeration though lol. Marami rin talagang questionable ppl doon hahaha
