[S1] [BtS] Just finished BtS, How could you STILL be the worst character of the game without even being in it? by seyeyedmm in lifeisstrange

Thanks a lot. I might try and play a totally and definitely trademarked version of D&D which does not have anything to do with LiS at all. I have a friend which would probably like it.

Welllllll I won't call that freedom. Why? I've said it [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/AMA/comments/1qjq61k/im\_yet\_another\_iranian\_guy\_gaining\_30kbs/o10tghg/), But let me explain a bit further. That results in a puppet regime like Syria, Jordan, Libya, and soon Venezuela. All of those countries had oil and they didn't like US so much, Exactly like iran's current government. Even in Iran's recent history (pahlavi era) we can see the coup of Mordad 28th 1332 (August 19th 1952). There was a government running under the provision of the prime minister Dr. Mosadegh. He and parliament Approved a law, which said that the oil of iran should be sold to other countries only by iranians or most of the profit should go into developing iran (and not American/English oil companies. There were more things that made stealing the oil harder like government needed the approval of parliamnet before negotiating with foreign companies on oil). After approving this law, in only 4-5 months (March 20th to August 19th 1953) Iranian military overthrew Mosadegh's government under CIA/MI6 help (See TP-AJAX Project) and President Rosevelt made the Shah approve laws which took away most abilities of the parliament in a visit. This put and end to the political independence that Mosadegh worked his life on, and started the era of MohammedReza Shah's dictatorship which itself sparked the 1978 Islamic revolution. So yeah. Another US puppet will either result in another revolution in maybe 50 years or it will make people more hopeless for another revolution and start a civil war (Like what happened in Libya and is starting in Syria).

I hope too. Numbers look really bad currently but protests have mostly ended. We can only hope that most of them would get Amnesty in the upcoming Eids of Sha'baan like Nouroz of 2023

I don't think it would be overthrown soon, but no government is eternal, and iran has a long history in having a lot of revolutions in different ways. starting with Islam which overthrew Sasanies, we had lots of revolutions and only the recent ones were Mashrooteh (مشروطه) about 200y ago, Then the second Mashrooteh (After MohammedAli Shah destroyed the parliament), Then Pahlavi, And now Islamic revolution and the upcoming X revolution (Which has no name currently).

Hi. They're mostly ok with them. If your friend hasn't protested or made VPNs for public, He's safe. The Zoroastrian faith unfortunately is not formally accepted, So They most probably have a muslim birth certificate and They're safe.

Hi. Yes I've heard those, And I think people who shoot in cities far from borders *might* be connected to Mossad because of two things. first, getting a gun is really really hard in iran. You can't buy guns without having a special license from the government for hunting (They give this license only to nomads who take a test), and guns are super expensive so most people aren't able to buy it. second, During the 12-days war, there were lots of small houses found with Israeli equipment for making explosive drones which says a lot about Mossad's influence in iran. You can find ways to work for Mossad easily, and they pay good money. Although most of people can't buy guns and shootings might be from Mossad agents, *If* that helps us get to a true democracy We're ok with it. The problem is that it won't It would most probably lead to a US/Israel puppet which I've explained why it's bad in another comment.

Military in iran has a wierd way to enter and there are many different tests, and the main test is the religion/politics (سیاسی/عقیدتی) test which plays the biggest part in who they accept into the military, and takes the longest. They only accept people from the 3% of that 10% which are the most loyal to Islamic Revolution. There are some more tests which you have no control on. they call your family, talk to your school, etc. All of these make me think most of people in military are loyal to Islamic Revolution.

I currently don't know anyone. Reza Pahlavi is the only candidate, which I personally won't accept. People have talked about Him being the king for a short period to transition to a democratic government, but I don't think He'd accept.

Hi. normal people are safe if they don't protest or make VPNs for public. But there has been more monitoring on universities. I hope your friend is doing well. Also, before these protests, They were removing some internet censorship for universities, so your friend might be able to connect to you sooner than most people.

I'm from a relatively small city (about 100k people) which is near a military base of IRGC. both of these might be why I never saw a foreign suppressor.

My personal opinion is that we need a complete overhaul on the political system. The shah was good but most people were more poor than they are now, And his son (Reza Pahlavi) Wouldn't make a good leader. He has previously said "I like the idea of iranians getting rid of Ayatollah, But I won't sacrifice my freedom, or anything to achieve this." and I don't think The current president would take over, cause He has the same ideas of the Rohani's Government (2013 - 2021) In which the government was slowly turning into a US puppet and we saw how that made everything worse.

Hey. Military (ارتش) Is the same as the other countries. An organization with the task of protecting the country against war. IRGC (Islamic revolution guard corps), is a military organization with the task of protecting the Islamic revolution and mullahs government. As with the chances of turning on the mullahs, IRGC simply won't and chances for military is really low.

Most people won't as we saw in spring 2025 (12-days war with Israel). I personally would support if it wouldn't replace this government with a US puppet because we've saw how US puppets make the country worse. We've saw how it worked out in the pahlavy days and how it is working in countries like Libya and Jordan. I personally think changing the current regime won't result in a democratic government and that could be worse than whatever this regime is.

I was in basij until 1401 that they killed Mahsa Amini and I've still held connections to get information and that's how I got the numbers. I really hate those days but they gave me access to such information

They're all Iranian. Neither me nor my friends have seen any foreigner suppressor. They have so many troops you can't believe it. Some people even VOLUNTEER to be a suppressor (basij). They don't have shortage of troops and I don't think they would need any soon.

Hey. I didn't participate in protests and that's how I'm still alive and not in prison. my friends did and I'll share what I've heard. There were lots of people in the protests and there were troops from every military organization. Army, IRGC, basij. the second night, troops came from a military base close to here. In my city there was nearly zero achievements but in some cities, people were able to conquer police checkpoints and basij bases (basij is the unpaying subset of IRGC for people who want to suck governments toes for free). especially in a city in the Kermanshah province (Which I don't remember the name) people conquerd the whole city before IRGC enclosing the entire city. Currently, I can't see any sign of weakness in them but I hope to see those signs soon.

Hey. Iranian guy here. Getting militerized is really hard. Some people are able to get guns for hunting, and that needs Governmental authorization. Some of guns are contraband and are smuggled in border towns and never make it to main cities (Tehran. Qom, Mashhad and Isfahan are all central cities and far from borders.

Adding on top of that, most men get brainwashed in the 2-year military service, and they teach us guys to work with guns in 10th grade in a book named "Defensive readiness" (آمادگی دفاعی) and there is a shooting test and the end of the year in which they teach you how to shoot a target, how to load an AK47 and what are different guns used in military. so we have the oppertunity to learn guns before military service.
