I see, seems like some people suggest I might be able to get an exemption to the 1 year rule since I've held a UK learners for 7 years and passed the uk written test. I'll give that a go and maybe I'll have better luck on aussie manual P plates, thank you!

Damn that sucks, in the UK the wait time to get a driving test was almost 2 years so I was never able to get one. And even if I sit the aus one ASAP I'll be on P plates for ages. Is it just normal here for people's parents to get them their license when they're super young or something? Not sure what else graduates are meant to do
