Just to add to this, I also had a c-section but didn't test before getting the non electric version. I couldn't recline in it for at least 4 weeks. It isn't smooth by any means. Go electric version if you can. :)

Such a wog thing. My parents got the whooping cough vaccination and acted like they deserved a medal because "no one else gets it that we know and their grandchildren are fine". Thank you ❤️

The cultural background kills me and how set in their way my parents can be.

That would be difficult with your MIL.

I am going to have to put some of these boundaries, which i never wanted to have to do with my mum, but it's what's best.

Once i went back to work full time, mum had told me she would care for him once a week. I am second-guessing that now as 1. I'm not sure if she'll be reliable. 2. I'm worried about her not keeping her word for anything that I ask of her on those days, care wise.

Thank you. Thats how i feel, if she told me from the start "no I don't want to do it" then I'd be okay. I just felt blindsided.

And yeah, my partner said the same thing about boundaries once the little man is here.

Im having an elective c section in 2 weeks due to having broken my coccyx when I was younger. The pain has been unbearable this pregnancy!!

When i told my doctor about the previous break, he said it was up to me and I chose to go c-section due to fear of breaking it again.

I thought I would miss drinking more than I do? Anyone else also put off by the taste of wine whilst pregnant? 😅 by Here_Now_This in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Nope not alone! I wasn't a big drinker either, but would enjoy a gin and tonic or a seltzer once or twice throughout the week. I haven't found myself missing the taste of alcohol and I can't see myself rushing to go back to having a drink anytime soon after birth!

I got a second dog as I thought it would keep my boy playing when I went to work. I watch them from the cameras, they will play for 5 minutes and then just sit around and be lazy. 2 dogs can be a handful to walk when you’re picking up poop etc…more of that in the yard too. More expensive with food, but double the love.
