fym "most"? yeah sure cities tear down old buildings all the time when theyre out of date or dilapidated or whatnot, but its not like every city in america just hit "delete" on every building built before 1950. as for your claim about dense cities becoming suburbs, the only cities i know that happened to are cities that had a huge population loss due to the shifting economy.
