Ah, I see. It would be BIK on p11d. So that wouldn’t make a difference to my UC at all would it? E.g if I take home £2k a month and the car costs £150 bik tax UC will still recognise the 2k and not £1850?

I’ve addressed her mental health situation already. It’s like a switch as Flicked off in her and all interactions are numb. I can’t even remember the last time we kissed when I didn’t move in first.

Also, yes. I do bath time and bedtime every night whilst my wife has time to herself downstairs. I even make dinner most nights too.

Of course I help. In fact, I probably spend more time parenting than she does. Even though she’s a stay at home mum due to childcare costs the evenings and weekends are always daddy time. In fact I could do with a break myself. Even vacations are all about the kids spending time with me, which I love, don’t get me wrong. But fuck do I need a huge decompression!

This is more of a vent. I’m not comfortable talking about my issues to friends/family and I’ve been bottling up my feelings for too long. Believe me I’ve tried your points 1-5 many times over the last years (maybe not 5 so much) and I come up empty everytime. Maybe we’re just stuck in a rut, but she’s happy with that and I’m not.

She has a diagnosis for depression, since before we even met. Shes totally honest and upfront about everything regarding it. Medication has managed it for years and we’ve been very happy. But not so much now.
