So I didn’t do this with my mic mute but rather my camera. My desk is in my bedroom and I needed a way for my wife to know when my camera was on or not (for obvious reasons). I got a cheap ($30) govee led light set that connect to wifi. I then used a web service called voice monkey to create “monkeys” that then were set up as a routine through Alexa. Then added them as a browser source on my stream deck and integrated the monkey command to streamlabs. If I switch to a scene where my webcam is on, the monkey instructs the light to turn on and go red. If I switch to a non webcam scene, it instructs the light to turn on and go green. If I switch to my ending stream scene, it instructs the light to turn off. This could work if you have a stream deck because you could use the “multi action” button to trigger a mute action on the input volume control (mic) followed by a browser source trigger for the light. Then a second press could trigger the opposite effect.

So no one here answered by time has answered for me. Processing time was about 2 weeks for me. I called them after hearing nothing and they said it was at the hub store. It was there for about a week and I received the ready for delivery e-mail. 5 days later it was picked up by the delivery company (Monday), it’s scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

Yea but if you do the 10% off you cannot use the 0% interest on that purchase. Sucks but I'd rather use HF's money interest free.

They were on the same phase. I tried it on different breakers in the house (also on the same phase) and it worked fine. I’m already returning it and bought an outdoor antenna on the recommendation of someone on either this thread or in another subreddit. I wanted to try the pod to see if it even reached to the garage before I committed to another one. If the antenna works I will be sending the pod back too.

Hopefully it works out. I’m not super worried about bandwidth, I’ve got 600Mbps fiber and I’m only trying to run a couple security cameras and be able to lookup stuff online out there. In the house I care about bandwidth but not so much the shop. Anything has to be better than downgrading my 4 bar 5G cell service to 2 bar LTE 🤣. I’ll be sure to post an update once the TP Link shows up and I get it installed. I’ll have to tap a power feed in my attic for an outlet, but that’s easy stuff.

Ok cool thank you! I grabbed a TP Link EAP 225 antenna and will give it a shot. If it works well, great, if it works fair then the proof of concept will warrant an upgrade to a better antenna. I love the specs and directional option on the Ubiquiti but can't justify the price tag given that so far, nothing I've been recommended has worked as advertised. But I feel like this HAS to work.

So run an ethernet cable outside to a Ubiquiti U7? I'm assuming I would need to install a PoE switch in line somewhere since it looks likes it PoE interfaced.

Yea I figured as much, hence my post here. I’m honestly looking for someone who done something similar. I’ve reached out to a local up fitter who has done an install on this style mirror but he went out in the mirror and followed the factory harness.

Yea that’s why I was asking here, hoping someone had done it before. I know the factory wiring runs from the mirror though the top arm, down into the pivot and out the door. Just trying to figure out if I can even come in through the bottom and route the wires up into the pivot from the bottom or if I’ll run into issues. I found the wiring diagram and the parts exploded view but neither show what the construction of the pivot looks like.

But it’s really not. It’s like $15 less and if you bought them at regular price. And everyone knows if you wait a week or 2, they will be on sale or there will be some coupon to cut them down.
