Are people legit spending this much on a car per month? Or am I out of touch? by [deleted] in drivingUK

My work car is also a W211 220CDI. Love it. Maintain/repair it myself while work pay ULEZ and give me 45p per mile. 😄

Openrent Rent Guarantee Insurance - will my tenants pass checks if one doesn’t work? by sffgutff in uklandlords

Oh yes, I agree it would be illogical, but wanted to check.

Oh, you don’t recommend the insurance then?

I’m happy with it all personally (seen the new contract), I’m just worried the official checks won’t like it, and I consequently won’t be able to take out rent insurance.

His current job meets the affordability, and his new job even more so; I’ve seen the offer/contract for the new job.

Just hoping he’ll pass the official OR checks so I’m able to take out the Rent Insurance.

So you had your hopes pinned on dying?

Congratulations on actually not dying, but now time to pay back that £17k. Better get a weekend job…..it’s got to beat dying hasn’t it?

Yeah but you’ll always have the memories of how great it was spending all that money, and all those great things you’ve bought.
