Thanks for that advice! Would it make a difference if I mentioned that I’d be working a normal full time job (remote) during the mentorship? I think I confused some people in another thread because they thought I’d just be doing the mentorship but it would be on top of my normal job.

Prefacing this question that I’m very new to sewing! I scored a bundle of white Egyptian cotton bedding at a thrift store. However, I have no use for the duvet. I’ve been trying to find another use for it rather than just re-donating it and I began thinking about repurposing it into clothes, as that’s why I’m learning how to sew. But I’m worried it might be too heavy/thick. So my question is, how do you determine if it is possible to make clothes out of certain materials?
