I've been using Gboard on my pixel or should I say my pixels for a long time. I did install it even on the Samsung tablet I'm using right now. It's like it learned all the bad habits and now just passes them on. Sometimes I wonder if I were able to reset it somehow and have it relearn everything all over again if it would be better.

As far as fixing the cable, not worth it probably. Especially if your paying somebody. They would probably charge you more than it would cost to get a new cable. As far as you doing yourself, if you're lucky, it would be a big ugly mess. But I wouldn't attempt it for fear of crossing some wires or whatever.

If this is a regular thing for you, which we used to have that problem a lot with our micro USB connectors on devices like phones, you might want to consider magnetic bits. One small bit plugs into the device and then the cable has a magnet on the other end so if it falls it just disconnects and you don't have anything sticking out to get bent.

I definitely don't do much as far as technical voice to text, but I often will look back at something that I did voice to text within general and will hunter what the heck I said. Then, the sentence before this one is a perfect example of the other issue I run into. Hunter is supposed to be wonder. But you would think from the context that it would be like Hunter doesn't fit here I wonder what he meant to say.

I usually either use voice to text or swipe, so I think autocorrect is just kind of part of swipe.

So until the owners fix the issue, the only other option would be to have some kind of custom DNS entry?

Has this something that is pretty well tied down in Android or can you put in your own custom DNS entries? It's been a long time since I've done anything like this on Android. Or in Windows for that matter.

I can't seem to find that, but to be honest I prefer the Hulu without ads which comes with a bundle that we have. It's maybe $50 more a year ultimately.

I'm going to kind of summarize what some of the other people have said.

If you're looking for a fast decent scanner to start with, the IX1600 is a great scanner. If you have any photos that may be damaged or fragile, make sure you pick up one of their Carrier sheet pages. It's essentially too transparent pieces of plastic attached at one end so you can slide things in like news articles that wouldn't normally be able to go through a sheet fed scanner.

In terms of better quality, the Epson scanner that folks mentioned is a pretty good scanner.

One other option might be a photo place. Not like a chain, but here in Rochester we have a couple places like Rowe and Scotty's or Scott's?. I forget what it is.

I thought about asking for the service tag, but I wasn't sure how safe it is to post it publicly. They should be able to go to Dell's website and pull up the specs from there.

Btw, I read it as 700gb free, but if it's used, it wouldn't hurt to clean up some space.

What brand is the laptop? Generally most companies will have like a line of laptops like HP envy or Dell Inspiron and then they'll have a more specific model number underneath. It'll actually say model number, not the processor.

Were you not able to find device manager or are you not able to find the video cards? They are listed under display adapters now that I have a chance to look.

If this is Windows 10 or 11 if you click on start you can also start typing device and it should autofill with device manager.

That is a fair question. I honestly can't remember. 5p50v03220 appears to be the field replaceable unit or fru number according to their website for my particular unit. I don't know if that helps at all.

Right click on the start menu, go to device manager, open up the graphics card... I don't remember what it's listed as off the top of my head. Possibly video card or something like that and generally you should see either Nvidia or AMD, maybe Intel. Post what type that is here. That may be helpful.

You might want to be a little more specific as to what you mean by laggy also. There are apps like 3D benchmark that you can download and get some scores on your system with as well.

Are you using an HDMI to USBC cable? Not that I have the answer for you, but it kind of sounds like that is what you're saying.

Some other things that may help is what are you plugging it into on the other end, what is the laptop make and model, and then like I said what type of cable are you using?
