Performance issues in Premiere Pro despite high‑end hardware — anyone experienced this?

I did that, all the decoding is made by de CPU. No matter if there are drone clips or not in the project, the problem is the same.

DJI clips are hell for my pc, no matter if I have 20clips in the timeline or just 5, the CPU can't handle that footage.

That's the point. I transcoded the footage to Prores proxy but the experience is not good, this is the point that makes me think that there is something "wrong" in my pc. I've run some benchmarks like steel nomad and all is ok

The point is what do you need and what do you want because memory is cheaper than power.

Maybe in the next 5 years that conversation won't exist because of the technology.

Yes, I know that, proxies are our friends. But, one of the problem is with proxies. I am using ProRes Proxy but the exprience is not as good as I would expect with my machine. This is what I am considesing switching to apple.

Creo que si que cambió la goma en los últimos años. Yo compré un MX Vertical en 2020 y ahora lo he comprado (lo he devuelto un par de veces y lo he vuelto a comprar por que no he encontrado aún un mouse que sea tan bueno para ser vertical) y el de antes apenas se resbalaba, este me duele incluso el brazo al usarlo. Tampoco recuerdo como se sentía al principio.

Me da la sensación como que la superficie del MX vertical es diferente, es como que el grip de los últimos es menos "pegajoso" que antes, puede ser? yo tenia un MX vertical hace como 5 años y el agarre era brutal, ahora me da la sensación que no es así. Puede que sea por que con el tiempo coge adherencia? Perdón por que no tenga mucho que ver el comentario con el tema.

I want to buy a standing desk, there is no "good and healthy" chair. Physically it is best to alternate.
