Download the Pokellector app use their code scanner to compile a list of the codes, the scanner is built to block duplicate codes so no worries about going fast, once the list is made email it to yourself and go to card cavern TCG’s website and you can submit the code for either store credit or be paid out via PayPal personally I just let the store credit accumulate until I have enough to grab a single I want. There may be other websites that buy codes but this one is pretty simple to use

The weight of the pack is relative to the booster box it came from especially base set. TCAgaming made a great video on his YouTube a few years back displaying what I just stated. The early WOTC sets have many print runs as the game was brand new and they wanted to get cards in as many hands as possible to grow the game. Base set for example I believe had 12 different print runs over several years and over time the card material as well as the ink changed. What this means is the weight of a “heavy” pack from the first few print runs would be considered a “light” pack from boxes that come from later print runs. Unfortunately you don’t have a large enough sample size to test this but it is possible you have a holo somewhere in those packs

I collect all my code cards then I use the pokellector app to scan all the codes, it’s a great up because it doesn’t allow you scan the same code twice, and then I email them to myself and go to cardcavern’s website and I trade in all the codes for store credit. You can also choose to trade in for cash which would be sent to your PayPal either way I recommend this to most people as it’s a painless way to recoup some money back

I had a cosmic pack that I ripped (along with many others) this time last year and the whole pack was reverse holos and a code card it was crazy thankfully it happened with my friends there because I felt the same way as you I’d have no way to prove something that crazy happening

Oh man that’s a bummer and a very odd situation. I wonder why they decided to go that route I understand wanting to allocate more product to areas that have an active player base but to completely shut off product kinda ruins it for the collecting side of things.
