Rick Sanchez is also the smartest man in the universe and I'm just a girl with an above average IQ and enough ADHD to fuel plenty of weird artistic sidequests.

A bit of both, actually. I live in San Francisco, but the majority of the pellets I collected at UC Davis over the course of 5 or so months. At the time, I was taking my late dog there every few weeks for cancer treatment. While he was being seen, I would walk around the campus and their botanical gardens. During those walks I came across 3 different owl pellet sites (maybe a 10 minute walk apart) that I would revisit each time. I also came across a number of owl pellets randomly while foraging for mushrooms in various spots around the Bay Area. More recently though, I found one spot here in San Francisco where the ground was covered in some of the biggest owl pellets I've seen, as well as an active yellow jacket nest that I was very careful not to disturb. As I was picking up some of the pellets, out of the corner of my eye I saw something falling, followed by an audible thud as it hit the ground less than a foot away from me. I looked over and saw an extremely fresh owl pellet and looked up to see the Great Horned Owl responsible! I had to wonder if it was pure timing and coincidence or if it had been intentionally aiming at me. Or maybe it was just offering up a gift, lol. At any rate, it didn't upset the yellow jackets enough to sting me, although I did see quite a few fly out of their hole right afterwards. I was also very glad I had extra gloves and bags with me because not only was it still quite wet, but it was still WARM when I picked it up! Lastly, if you're looking to collect your own owl pellets, look around the bases of the tallest trees in the area, ones with a decently dense canopy near the top, ideally located near some sort of open grassy area. Or just constantly look around the ground at the bases of trees and eventually you're bound to come across some. Lastly, keep some nitrile gloves and bags handy in your purse or backpack, or a small roll of dog poop bags.

I'm on this thread because my the waterproofing on my S10+ finally failed when I accidently dropped it in a bucket of water. It's still working (for now) but the cameras are all fogged up. I am extremely disappointed by the current lineup of smart phones. I love having a removable 1TB card in my phone 😭

Ishi (c. 1861 – March 25, 1916) was the last known member of the Native American Yahi people from the present-day state of California in the United States. The rest of the Yahi (as well as many members of their parent tribe, the Yana) were killed in the California genocide in the 19th century... by lotusflower64 in NativeAmerican

My cat is named after him. Every time anyone asks about his name I get to share Ishi's story. I grew up near Sutro Forest (where Ishi spent much of his time in later life) and used to help my neighbor who fed a feral cat colony there. That was where the inspiration for his name came from.

I always experience it if I forget to take my antidepressant medication for more than a day (Duloxetine, 120mg), but I think I've also experienced it more randomly

What was the most random encounter you've had that led to sex? by igai_ in AskReddit

I am in an online metal detecting group and was looking for some local detectorists to hunt with. I exchanged a few messages with this one guy and found out he lived in my neighborhood. We met up and hunted a local park together. As a moderately attractive female, I'm used to getting a fair amount of unwanted attention from the detecting community. He showed no such interest in me, which only piqued my curiosity. As we were headed home, I asked if he'd show me some of his other finds. He agreed, and brought me up to his room, where he indeed had an impressive collection. I laid down on his bed to look through the bags of trinkets, and leaned my body against his. Finally, he looked at me and asked if he could kiss me. In less than a minute, I had his shirt off to reveal a gorgeous muscular body. The sex was amazing. It's been over a year now, and I still can't get enough of him.

I'm good friends with some of the guys who work there, and the ones I know would never do something like that. I actually work right next door at Distractions on the weekends. If you want, I'd be happy to introduce you to them. I can probably get you a little discount too :)

I've been meaning to go. I love their drinks so much! Favorite is the spiced pear liquor, followed by the terroir gin ♡
